PT Timah (Persero) Tbk is the largest state-owned tin producer in the world, with approximately 65 percent of shares held by the government of Indonesia. It is a State-Owned Enterprise engaged in tin mining and has been listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange since 1995. Established in 1976, the company is the largest integrated tin miner and processor in the country, which has tin mining rights of 522,460 hectares by total numbers of 114 mining licenses both onshore and offshore with the area of operation covering Bangka Belitung and Riau Archipelago Provinces based on the existing of Indonesian Tin Belt. Main products include tin ingots (LME registered), low lead tin, tin alloys, tin solder and tin chemicals.
